The sith are a very different kind of people and I don't just mean in the movies I mean in the real world the sithism followers tend to be a bit more dark minded than others and they also tend to have the lesser opinions.

No, No deffinately not I just worded that wrong I should have said lesser followed opions. The views of the sith aren't what the majority of society would follow. To speak openly I'm not sure that most society would see them as correct. In no ways are the opinions of sithism followers insignificant to anyone else'.

Yeah it's not like I hate America. I just find that a majority of people there are very onesided on there views. They believe one thing and don't agree with others views nor do they respect them.

Sidious, Sindo, I am so glad you agree with me too on this. America is a land of great opportunities, but because of them hardly anyone has any respect or honor.

Hmmmm...religion in America, yeah, I guess I can comment on that since I'm from America. The American South is called "the Bible Belt." This is because the main culture is dominated by Christian fundamentalists who take a literal view of the Bible. I grew up around these people. They believe that their religion is the right one and all others are going to Hell. (George Bush is one of these.) In recent years these people have gained dominence in the more secular northeast and west. They also now dominate the congress which explains some of the U.S.A.'s more recent weird behavior. Some of us would love to see these guys get shoved out of their dominent positions because they have told the rest of us to to keep our mouths shut. Religious openmindedness and tolerance is usually considered a "liberal" trait, but the liberals in the U.S. have been shoved aside. The one-sidedness of many Americans is a result of this rightward cultural shift. A Sith religion to me would be an antidote to this problem, and I hope more people here as well as elsewhere embrace it.

Threatening people with Hell is a form of social control. This is religion used as manipulation. It is powerful brainwash. I took years to get it out of my system. I grew up in religious fundementalism.
There is one thing I like about the Sith. When they rule, they don't mix religion and politics and use religion to control people. Their methods of social control are more direct like troop strength. There is no hellfire and damnation.

I really didn't mind it actually. I stopped believing in god and heaven or the devil and hell. I just had trouble believing the things that our religion taught us.

I agree with Darth Sindo and Sushi as stated on page 1, America is a place where different opinions are silenced. Unfortunatly I live in America so I know first hand. In america all Americans are Republicans but only some get to be party members. Since the rise of the right wing and christian fundamentalism all desention is silenced. Another contributing factor is the fall of communism. As long as there were plenty of communists states America was forced to be tolerant of many views inside and outside of our borders. Without the big bad powerful Soviet Union to keep America behaveing, the U.S. is forceing their beliefs on the whole world. Thanks to this recless behavior of the U.S. I feel imbarassed to go to other countries because every one from other countries assums that I think like the jerk in the White House. I am as far from Bush as one can be.

Hey the ultimate dark lord of the sith is George Bush. I mean look at the way he operates. He plays the political game like Palpatine did in the star wars prequel... however, if you think about the analogy its quite parallel-- don't you think so.

Didn't think that I would run across any anti-american stuff here. I am an american soldier and damn proud of it. I don't expect everyone to like that or agree with me, but I do not like people bad mouthing the country I have fought for in combat and lost a few friends for.

It's not (at least i hope..) meant as anti american, and Im sorry you took it that way. You should be proud of any country you fight to defend, however the point being made is that some of the people here dont believe that what certain people within the american hierarchy have been orchestrating is right, morally or otherwise. No real good can come from war, no matter what the original intentions may have been, and, at least in my opinion, people who are elected as leaders should know better. War is not, and never will be an entirely necessary course of action, for anyone to take, despite what may be said, there is always another way, as long as you are willing to look. Sorry if that seemed in any way like a rant, that was not my intention. ...Fighting to defend your way of life, your belief's, your home/family etc.. is an acceptable, and honorable cause. However, fighting for the sake of fighting, or for that matter, because someone decided they dont like you, is not.

I am sorry you misunderstood me Hunter6. I respect all our soldiers. My anger is at the current republican regime. 50% of the U.S. population has been told to shut up. 1% is enjoying all the wealth.40% is below the poverty line. I feel I have the right to complain since my father died for this country and was in the Navy. Many of my child hood friends were Viet Nam Vets. I grew up hearing how tuff it was in Nam. So I naturaly did not want the next generation of Americans to suffer the trauma and the nightmeres that they suffer. I also think a nation that does not take care of the citizens as irresponsible and deserve to be critisized.

I too am from America, and I also grew up inside the Bible Belt. Here in Texas it is very hard for people to understand what your oppinion is on any thing if it differs from theirs. I too support our troops(I know quite a few in and from Texas). I grew up trying to find a place for my way of thinking. Like Lords Vader and Tyranos I was Jedi. Jedi Skywise. But after a while I was lost because of all the politics they stated did not say were preasent. My mother in law is still Jedi and the crap she spews is so one sided. She is my arch-nemisis(as most mother in laws are LOL). At times I find peace in the chaos of others. Does that make me a bad person? NO it does not. I just think outside the box.

THE TRUTH, YOU HAVE BEEN FIGHTING IN INJUSTICE WARS, WARS THAT DONOT MAKE ANY SENSE, ALL IN ALL, WHO REALLY WINS NOBODY? REAL WARS ARE FOUGHT WITH RESPECT, HONOR, CODES, SALVATION, DIGINITY, SELF-CULTURE, RESPECT FOR LAND, RIGHTS FOR WOMEN, AND UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD, NOT WARS FOR OIL, AND CONTROLLING BLOODLINES, AMERICAN IS RUN BY FALSE BLOOD THIRSTY CHRISTIANS

Calm it.. war has always been about one nation or person, as the case may be wanting power, or wanting something another nation has. When has war ever been for a good purpose?
Never, and at this rate it never will.

I agree that this war is for a bad reason. I do not however think all wars bad. If you are the country that is invaded and you fight to defend your self that is a good war. If you are an oppressed people and you go to war for freedom that surely is a good reason for war. For capitalist greed is a bad war. to die so Halliberton and the christain right can trample over other people is wrong.

True Sith? You all are weak....turening away from war? What good does war bring? Power, the most direct way to power. I am also a soldier in the U.S. Military. This talk of Bush is contrary to all that you believe (or claim to believe). Bush has a power few could dream of, who he got that power is irrelevant. Abuse of power? What is abuse of power? No such thing, maybe abuse the power given to him by the people, but they did give it to him, now it is his to abuse. The war in Iraq? expanding our "empire", 10-15 years from now when we have our hands on Iraqi oil and a very strong influence in the politics of that country we will secure our future, our control of this world for centuries to come. War never brings any good that sounds like the peace love views of the Jedi. Through passion there is strength, through strength there is power, through power is victory. This website is for negative "Jedi". The true Sith is a belief.....one you have failed to grasp, and your weakness will follow you till you die alone and powerless. I can only hope someday you will truly embrace the teachings of darkness and quit weakening yourselves with these "Jedi" thoughts. Someday the true Sith will rise and it will not be a weaken form but true power.
