I'm new to the board, but based on my religious experiences, I think it would be good for the Sith to ally themselves with Satanism. I assume since everyone here is open-minded that a few have probably read Anton LaVey's books and understand the basics of his philosophy. It just occured to me while playing KOTOR II that the philosophies are pretty similar. Anyone agree?

I think there may be similarities in some ways but not all. Comparison would be interesting, but I would not want to draw a direct parallel. There are other comparisons worth noting also, like Indian Tantrism for instance, and also forms of Kabbalism or Gnosticism. Sith, though, has its own uniqueness, its own unique fusion of ideas. Also everyone is free to interpret it as they so choose, which makes it a breath of fresh air. Some of these older belief systems have become frozen in dogma.

I do not think the Sith and the satanists are the same. To me the christains and the satanists are the same. The christains are selfish republicans and the satanists are selfish republicans. The christains are squelching people who do not allow free thought. The satanists stuck to their tradidtions are squelching and do not allow free thought. I see no differance both support this sesspool of a world. The Sith especially Palpatine and Vader represent freedome and the revolution to get there. No satanist so far has offered to befriend Vader or his wife (me ). I have seen no alliences on any level to side with the revolution as expressed in Episode III.
