Those who know the sith code. I would love to know your opinions on the code.

I believe that the Sith Code is a very applicable code on the sith-believes. In the galaxy is too much peace and prosperity. Everything slows down because of the feelings that people are having.
I say let us all be the fire of hate and destroy the weak!!

ive seen at least three different versions of the ' Sith Code'. ill try to track them down asap


version one:

There is no peace, there is anger.

I believe that the code you have uncovered Darth Sidious is the correct one and I have followed it for some time.

although some of the aspects of this code could be false as it is clear that the universe has not or does not bowed before the sith.....YET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whilst I must admit, I have trouble following Sithism as a religion, it's teachings and principles are so intriguing.... So very intriguing...

Yes the teachings are very intriging and they actually drove me to take up sithism as a religion. It's easier than one might think.

i find it funny how seriously some people take it really... its more of a "hobby" than a religion to me... im more into the starwars kind of sith than the real world kind.

well I've been on several sites, including the "sithism.com" one, but always left a little confused. I want to hear it from a person. Genericly, what is Sithism's beliefs?

Well I know Jedi'ism is based on Taoism. Basically Taoism with Jedi skin. Is it then safe to assume that Sithism also finds it's realistic roots in Taoism?

i would assume so at least, yes

some parts of this remind me of Bushido... Most noticable is the way of immediacy. No hesitation. No talk, only action.

That is exactly like sithism. The sith believe that almost all life can be disposed of in order to achieve waht we want. Also the sith are not supposedc to control their emotions. They show them and use them but certain emotions are not considered to be good. Emotions like love compassion and empathy are considered to be the greatest weakness in the human race.

Love...that is not an emotion I am willing to give up. In fact, I believe it is my strongest trait as when I am defending the ones I love I am much more dedicated and fierce.

That may be so but will you not also risk your life stupidly in order tyo save the ones you love. Do you not risk death just love.

Would I risk my life for love? Yes I would! One of the few things worth fighting for in this world.

But what has it ever gotten us???

Well, it could be said lord Sidious had a love of controlling the galaxy, which he did for a whole generation.
That got us somewhere.

I know for a fact where love has gotten me. It's given me a companion to share my life, someone to share my soul with. You shouldn't take it so serious man, someone to fall in love with is better than the entire universe. Suprising how something so simple could be so worth it. Lets just put it this way, I'm here for a limited time and I plan on enjoying all the earthly pleasures I can, and until they make prosthetic bodies and I can get cyberized and live forever, I will continue to love, laugh and enjoy life to the fullest. While taking a few examples from Sithism of course...

Well from personal expirience I say love is useless and it has never gotten me anything but crap.

ehh you've just had bad experiences. Give it time, you'll find that one special someone. You gotta or else you wont be able to spread your "Sith Seed" lol

Point taken now let's get off of the topic of love because it is getting us nowhere. All we're doing is clashing two very different perspectives and we are both entitled to our own.

In reference to line "I have found true life" what the hell is true life. I'm still trying to figure this out.
