I am trying put together a list of subjects that a real life sith should be interested in. This is what I have so far, I want my fellow sith to add to it.
Camouflage - that is know how to disappear, not what the military does.
Martial arts - the sith must know how to defend himself.
Radio communications - useful for monitering the local governent as well as other suspicious people.
Financial Incume - self explanatory
now does anybody have anything to add?

The Sith has many tools for whatever it needs to its benefit, whether it may be psychology, or charm, and other peoples talents as well. I'm am well versed in whatever I need to get the job done.

well the sith lord or sith will need alot of political power. so when the times comes for war or something they will have people to back them up. SO WHAT I'M SAYING IS {POLITICAL POWER}.

To be a Sith aiming for political power, you would need to start out early in life especially if it is main stream politics. You have to choose whether you plan to manipulate within the already existing political parties or to work from the outside in non-mainstream parties. This choice has to be chosen early in life, even before high school graduation. This is because your life practically all the way back to grade school is scrutinized by political opponents. You can't have a questionable past in the eyes of the voters you intend to woo. This was the mistake of David Duke, who ran for a seat in the State of Louisiana. In the past he had been a neo-Nazi. His opponents easily dug up that info from his past and could easily smear him. He therefore hit a glass ceiling in mainstream politics. If you join any form of radical politics, consider yourself committed.
To win the game of mainstream politics, one should have a bland sounding past. One's Sith activities should be kept under cover. Like Palpatine, one has to say all the stuff that pleases the voters and tell them what they want to hear. If you have radical views, hide them, as Palpatine did. If you are a socialist, pretend you are a Republican. Everyone has to talk like a Republican to get elected. Go to church, either Catholic or a Protestant demomination that is boringly bland and conservative. (This is image only. Inside you are a Sith through and through). Always wave the flag of whichever country you live in. You can get away with just about anything that way (look how well it works for Bush!).
Get a law degree. Serve in the military in order to look good. Charm over a few businessmen. You'll need the campaign funding.
Study the lives and writings of Vladimir Lenin, Karl Rove, Ronald Reagan, and Adolf Hitler. These guys really knew how to manipulate the mass, or you could say "wag the dog."
It would be a long haul and a 40 plus year commitment to get results. Imagine holding your nose for a full 40 or so years.....hmmmm.....mainstream politics is a smelly business.
Perhaps there are some shorter Sith paths to power.

To continue on this I think it best if the young aspireing Sith were to start your career In the Military. Preferably West Point, Annapolis and or C.I.A. If British it would be MI6 and any other equilivalant. Here you would acuire iron discipline and the martial arts skills necessary. In stead of spying over seas you would have to blend in your own country. Then you do as Empress Palpatine says for fourty years. You get a high enough GS rateing so as to control the entire military industrial complex. These are your base and most loyal cadre. Once you have the military you are in the best posistion posible because from here you get two choices of actions to take. If you have a good voter population you use your power to create public opinion. The classic propaganda campaighn. If you have a stupid population or stubern population, you use the guns of your military power to take control by force.

I heard of that book although I never actually read it.
Newsflash...Hillsdale, Michigan: The youngest mayor ever was just elected. He was 18 years old and still in high school. He was barely voting age. He was a write in candidate believe it or not, Michael Sessions. This probably shows how disgusted the voters must be. How does this apply to those of us aspiring Sith? It shows what could be done. What if someone here pulled this off? Perhaps someone here will be the first Sith mayor or whatever of some locale.

Michigan is the northern part of America. Near lake Michigan. Indiana and Ohio are just to the south of Michigan. I hope this helps.
