This is a place where badmouthing the jedi can take place. Honestly I hate them. They are weak and compassionate, 2 things the sith are not. They fear us and won't admit it. Also their understanding of the force is pathetic. Only when you turn to the darkside of the force can you truly understand it power.

Anger leads to hate
Hate leads to suffering

Once uttered by that filth Yoda these words show the jedi's fear of the Sith. It shows their fear of anger when the sith are taught to embrace anger as a useful aspect of life. It shows their fear of hate when the sith are taught to use their hate. It shows their fear of fear itself when sith use fear as an ally. And finally it shows thier fear of suffering and sith are the ones who cause suffering.

All taht I am saying is that the jedi's very existence disturbes me. Why is it that something so weak was even created and why would the first jedi follow such a weak path in life.

Maybe I did take it just a bit too far earlier but I am just very passionate about the Sith religion and I truly do hate the jedi do to their lack of understanding of almost every thing in then universe.

I was wondering what are some of the jedi beliefs. Because I've heard that they are not the exact opposite of the sith. I've heard that they are as Emperor Palpatine said very similar to the sith.

They are supposed to be "detached," but they are anything but.

They are supposed to be compassionate, but they only preach it. Obi-Wan left Anakin after chopping off his legs to die horribly. It would have been more civilized to kill him quickly. Finish him off. He lectures him while he watches him burn alive. Compassionate Jedi? If Luke had known this I am sure he would have not sided with the rebels but joined his father.

They also did not help Anakin go get his mother which should have been their duty. I'm not sure I'd like a group that let someone I loved be tortured for a month by some desert weirdos.

Scaring children is not so compassionate either as they did to Anakin in that council circle in Episode I.

Protectors of the republic? Supposedly, but they did a lousy job.

The only one who fit what a Jedi is supposed to be is Qui-Gon Jinn, but he was killed.

As for people who claim Jedi in our world, I have no ill will; but I do prefer the more broad-minded and honest approach of the Sith.

Yes the jedi are great peacekeepers. They are so wise and so good that I wonder why people/aliens are so affraid of them. Perhaps they see through the lies of the jedi!

Everyone knows that the jedi are peacekeepers but they think that the jedi are on power trips. They think they can controll the galaxy. JUst look at Mace Windu he shouldn't have even thought about killing Palpatine but he thought he had the authority to do so.

Mace had no legal right to kill Palpatine. This just showed the cockyness and arrogance of the Jedi. This was their downfall.

Exactly but it does bother me that a jedi saved palpatine. The last thing that the sith need is help from a stinkin' jedi.

I think Palpatine was feigning weakness in order to win Anakin over. The ironic thing is that Palpatine appealed to Anakin's sense of justice and his patriotism, even the Jedi code which Mace was violating by killing an unarmed opponent. In a sense, Anakin became a Sith for rather Jedi reasons; and that seemed to be O.K. with Palpatine. It sort of turns the Sith=evil idea on its head. This will fuel debate and discussion on Light Side vs. Dark Side for a long time to come.

Are you going by the movie jedi or the evlotion of the jedi through the books. The movie Jedi and the book jedi are completely different. The movie jedi are like monks, the book jedi have evolved greatly and thanfully. As i am a jedi I can say that not all are week. The self rightous "light" jedi can be annoying however the true Jedi are not like that. In truth as i recall the sith have also did great changes in the books as well. The only true differenace beteen the 2 groups is the sith use thier power through emotion and the Jedi strive to use the force through little to no emotion. Other then that we are the same. We both falllow the force. There is not dark side, light side, my sider, yourside or our side. There simple is the force.

Mace would have made a great sith, you saw it in the movies clear as day. He had sever power issues from the moment he met anakin to the moment he was killed. I really wish anakin would have taken mace out in a fight. Everytime i saw the movie I clapped when mace was killed, some did not like that.

If they would have succeed in taking papitne out, mace would have been twice as ruthless. He would have fought the coucil for control and it would have been a even worse blood bath.

Papitine really could not have been so evil. I kept the old republic togather, and ensure a since of pieace and securty for 20+ years. Should he have saved padma and the kids like he promised his rule would have been much longer, that was his mistake. Unless he was looking for the kids behind vaders back to replace vader he had no reason for telling the lie that he did.
