I don't know about anyone else but I love these guys. Although their victories are few and far between they fight to the end and serve their duty well.  |

theyre great. although i prefer the Ep3 mix of clone/stormies than any other. remember - they are the best imperial troops there are - there victories are not few and far between - its just that you cant really have a stormie kill a major character  shame really |

Well in the books, the ones they killed played much larger roles. You got to know the other Jedi better. So in a sense, they killed off 90% of the major characters spare the 2 best. But we all know how that turned out anyways. Exhile...

As I've learned, the movies are a miniscule part of the picture. The books...so much more story there...

Yeah i've heard that the books go into much more detail when letting the person know a character. Not that Lucas didn't.

some of the books are absolutely excellent. If you havent read them, keep an eye out for the Thrawn trilogy. they are amazing |

I like the clones in episode 3 then the stormtroppers but the stormtroppers are still bad

Yeah, the mix of clone/storm uniforms was just great. thought it far better then either any previous, or *future* uniforms.
Stormies are not bad... they are the empire's elite. the reason you never see them do much in the films is simply because you cannot really kill a main character, and most of the time when you encountered storm troopers, they were after an important character

In my opinion, stormtroopers kick butt (dont wanna offend the sistem lords)
They are well trained, well equipped, and moralized.
I just think that they should practice they're shooting skills.
in fact, everybody should practice them, or simply change the blaster rifles, because those guys cant hit a target @ 200 meters, that is far worst that a average earth soldier with a normal powder cartridge rifle.
maybe they should start recruiting even better guys than Jango Fett to make new clones.
Even better, clone a Sith Lord, taking away some of the "will and wildness" trough the cloning process.
Imagine, a army of sith soldiers...

Not agreeing with people isnt going to offend them. you are entitled to your own opinion on any matter. A sith army would never work however, as nice an idea as it is. That is how the sith were before Darth Bane, and he was the only survivor when their lust for power resulted in them turning on each other. |

thats not exactlly what they did with the clones though... if memory serves me correctly, they used their whole genetic manipulation to make the clones less independant, and to make them "totally obedient to any order". (submissive)
All Sith desire to grow stronger in the dark side...Its not really a personality trait, its not really genetic, so personally i wouldnt have thought it would be something that could really be bred out. Sure they could clone them to be submissive and not independant, but would that really stop them from eventually deciding they should be in charge?
personally i dont believe so

Your right in all that, but we don't know to how much extent can the cloners change all the genetic particularities that will make them sith´s.
And even if all the personality factors couldn't be controlled, how long could they expect to live? Maybe not long enough to start getting a will on they're own.
After all, we don't really need "sith storm troopers", although that would be nice.
Being the sith a "dark" part of the force, maybe kidnapped jedi´s could be used, and taken to the dark side , and then, during the cloning process "domesticated".
Maybe they can be better shooters than the usual stormies...
